835842_buddha_statuesThe fundamental principle that underlies Feng Shui and our body are that all things compose of yin and yang. From this principle, arises the concept of five-element, the eight orientations and the 64 trigram.

By adopting this principle, Feng Shui can help you increase your energy level and be healthier through the air we breathe, the environment we live in and the food we consume.

There are two main areas in your home that affects your health. That is your bedroom and kitchen.

Kitchen
In Feng Shui, kitchen is one of the most important spaces for our health and wealth. Your kitchen should:
• Have a stove that is functioning well.
• Use your stove regularly.
• Your stove should not face the toilet or door.
• Avoid overhead beam above the stove.
• Refrigerator fills with fresh food.
• Have good air flow.
• Well lighted.
• Well organized.
• Free from odour.

Bedroom
Having good sleep is elemental to rejuvenate your health and energy. Thus, ensuring that your bed is correctly aligned is important for your sleep. Make sure that your bed:
• Does not face a door.
• Avoid overhead ceiling beam cuts across the bed.
• Avoid mirror reflecting any part of your bed.
• Do not have water feature
• Do not keep plants in the bedroom.
• Avoid exercise in your bedroom.
• Minimize electrical appliances in the bedroom.
• Minimise dried flowers in the house.

Diet
Just like our living environment, our body need to maintain a balance of yin and yang. Choose a balance diet and try to consume food including fruits containing 5 colours in one meal. These 5 colours are white, yellow, green, black and red. These are 5 colours of the 5 elements.

And of course, regular exercise is essential to maintain good health.

Wishing you a happier and healthier life!
