Bedroom is the most important personal space in everyone, be it adult or children. And in the bedroom, our bed is the most important object. A well positioned bed allows the sleeper to captivate good “chi” which is essential to recharge our body, mind and soul.

The birth data of the individual is the most vital consideration to determine a good bed position. As for couple, both birth data should be considered. When the couple has extreme difference preference in orientation, then one may have to result in a neutral position.

Besides the birth data, some of these factors are important to consider as well. They are as follow:-

• A bed should have a firm head board.

• The headboard should ideally be against a solid wall and not below window or glass panel.

• The headboard should not be resting against and sharing the same wall with stove, sink and any water closet.

• The bed should not be reflected on mirror(s).

• The bed should not be placed under a beam (horizontal or vertical) or different ceiling level.

• When lied down on the bed, the legs should not be pointing or facing door.

• Avoid having cabinets above the bed

• No aquarium next to the bed.

• The bed should not be place directly below a bathroom or above a kitchen.

• The bed should not be placed in the centre of the bedroom

• The position where the bed is placed should have good flow of air.

• Avoid ceiling fan above the bed.

Other guidelines:-

• Choosing an auspicious date and time to place the bridal bed is important to promote a happy marriage with descendant luck.

• The wall above the head board should be kept clear including wedding photographs.

• The bed should not be moved or changed when the wife is pregnant.
