The
chi (qi) around us changes constantly. In Fengshui, time is an essence.
No home or office enjoys good luck or suffer from ill fortune forever.
The factor of “time” is a crucial consideration when analyzing
and diagnosing Fengshui of a premise.
With the major school of thoughts having the theory of the cyclical
pattern of energy in a period, the period has its own unique characteristic,
strengths and weaknesses. Each period consist of 20 years. There is
a total of 9 periods which covers a grand cycle of 180 years. With Period
5 divided into 2 sections of 10 years each. The early 10 years adopt
the character of Period 4 and the later 10 take up the character of
Period 6.
Period 8 is a critical transition. 3rd February 2004 marks the last
day of Period 7. On the first day of spring of the Year of Monkey – 4th
February 2004, the energy of Period 8 begins to propagate. And this cycle
will go on till 2023.
Like Period 7, the Dui has its unique characteristic and energy which
benefits many young women, technology and cultural affairs. In Period
8, it has its very own distinguish pattern with stars changing its position
and character. The changes affect everyone under the influence of heaven
and on earth.
In this new period, the rising stars are the 8, 9 and 1. The energy of Star
7, which use to be an auspicious star, will deteriorate and return to its evil
nature
.
It is important to understand the change and tune your environment to synchronize
with the changing energy. This will enable one to tab into the new vital stars
to bring about good fortune, good health, opportunity, happiness and even descendant
luck.
