In the timeless teachings of the Chinese almanac, 通勝, certain days are known as *Broken Days* (破日). These are days when the natural flow of energy is disrupted—making them 凶日, or unlucky. Such days are traditionally seen as unfavorable for major events like weddings, business openings, or moving house, as they may invite obstacles, delays, or misfortune.
