Spring cleaning symbolizes the removal of old, stagnant energy, along with unwanted or damaged items, to make way for fresh energy and hope to enter your living and working spaces.

According to Chinese tradition, clearing out clutter and accumulated negative energy from the past year prepares the environment for the arrival of auspicious "qi" (气) during the New Year. This act of renewal sets the stage for positive transformation and blessings in the coming year. 

To fully embrace the tradition, specific practices and items are recommended: 

New Cleaning Tools: Begin with fresh brooms, dusters, buckets, and cloths dedicated to this ritual.
Pomelo Leaves: These are tied to the broom or duster and used to symbolically sweep and cleanse the house. Pomelo leaves can also be soaked in water along with flowers to create a cleansing solution for wiping down surfaces and affected areas.

Favorable Year: Start from the main entrance and work inward, symbolizing an invitation for prosperity to flow into your space.
